Honoring all the police officers during National Police Week. Scroll Saw Pattern. $3 PDF Catalog updated to version 9.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
This is not a new pattern but I wanted to post it again for National Police Week. There is a pattern for a male and female officer. Remember to says thanks to the officers you see this week.

To all the current and retired police officers who follow my blog, thank you for your service.

Some of you may remember several months ago that I had a thief try to steal packages from my front porch. The officer who came to take my report took the crime seriously and they caught the thief within a couple of days. Their professionalism was wonderful to experience.

I received a call from the Commonwealth attorney late last week. He was keeping me updated on the outcome of the trial. The young man who stole from me also had other outstanding warrants. The judge gave him 3 years for one count and 1 year for another count. He will serve some time in prison and hopefully rehabilitate from his drug use and poor decisions.  My point is that my local police department did their job and did it well. That has been my experience with our police department and it is appreciated.

Information: $3 PDF catalog update 9 available.

The latest update to the $3 PDF catalog is available. If you have purchased this catalog supplement remember to open the program and click the check updates link. The latest version is 9. This is for PC only.
If you purchased for the MAC, Linux or tablet you can return to the upgrade link you saved during purchase and get the latest version 9 pdf file. There is also a link on the online PDF downloader to check for the update.
For those of you not familiar with the $3 PDF catalog here is what it is.

This is not a replacement for the free online catalog. The online catalog is always updated and available to download my free patterns.

This is a supplement to easier browse the catalog from your desktop. You can quickly scroll through the PDF file and look for a pattern you would like to cut. You then enter the name of the file in the program for quick download. Watch this video if you are interested. It explains the details.

More information:

I am considering fazing out the PC download program for the $3 PDF catalog and letting everyone use the online version of that program. It is easier to use and easier to update. This is the version for MAC, Linux and Tablet users. You can check out the online version from the link on the update page. You can also see how it works in the video above.

One particular problem with the PC version are false positives from some anti-malware software. The PC version is clean but false positive are a problem for many software developers. Even though I know it is clean I can't just tell someone to override their anti-virus software. I'm still working to make a decision if I will make this change. I'll keep you posted.

Dewalt DCD771C2 20V MAX Cordless Lithium-Ion 1/2 inch Compact Drill Driver Kit

I use several of the DeWalt 20V cordless tools. I find them really well built and the batteries hold up better than most. The 20V batteries also deliver lots of power to the tools. This drill was the first one I purchased. I liked it so much that I bought the circular saw, Jig saw and extended battery. Great tools in my opinion at a reasonable price.

  • Compact, lightweight design fits into tight areas
  • High performance motor delivers 300 unit watts out (UWO) of power ability completing a wide range of applications
  • High speed transmission delivers 2 speeds (0-450 & 1,500 rpm) for a range of fastening and drilling applications
  • 1/2-inch single sleeve ratcheting chuck provides tight bit gripping strength.Ergonomic handle delivers comfort and control
  • The battery pack is not fully charged out of the carton, refer page 2 in user manual for charging procedure.

Hockey Plaque Scroll Saw Pattern.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
I love sports but I have to admit that I have very little knowledge about hockey. I have attended one NHL game several years ago. We had a local pro hockey team here in Lexington for a while and I went to one of their games. It is a fast game. I enjoyed the games but I grew up in basketball country.

A reader mentioned that I only had two hockey patterns in my catalog so I thought I would do this one tonight. I hope you hockey fans like this pattern.
