Jesus Portrait Cross Scroll Saw Pattern

This cross will be a little more of a challenge than it looks to new scrollers. There are a couple of small cut outs in the portrait. Use a #3 blade for the face detail and be careful of lifting the pattern. If you are comfortable with spiral blades you might have better luck with a small spiral for the face. This pattern will give you some practice with tight cuts and straight line cutting.

You will also cut a backer board. To get a better fit you might want to stack cut the outside of the cross and backer board. Then remove the backer board and set it aside while you cut the detail.

OOPS!!!

My feeble attempt to to drag money out of the pockets of the masses was foiled by a faulty link. In the last post I had a "Buy Now" link to purchase the Jigsaw Puzzle Template Book. The link will not work. If you wish to purchase the book you will need to visit my blog and use the "Buy Now" button under the video tutorial.

Free Puzzle Template Book Sample

If you visit my site you will see that the one item I sell is the "Jigsaw Puzzle Template Book". I have always tried to keep 99 percent of everything on my site free to download so I hope you will forgive me if I pitch this product. The book contains templates for 5x5 25 piece, 4x6 24 piece, 5x7 35 piece, 8x10 80 piece, 4x6 96 piece, 5x7 140 piece, 8x10 320 piece.

The response to the book has been overwhelmingly positive. In two years I have refunded the purchase price 1 time and was happy to do so. Just let me know within 3 days that you are not 100% satisfied and I will refund the entire purchase price. No questions asked and you can keep the book. I trust you guys so I have no problem with this offer.

There is a video tutorial on the first page of the blog that shows the step by step detail of how to make these one of a kind family heirlooms from your own pictures. It really is simple and family and friends will love the gift. Here is the direct link to the video.

To give you a chance to see if these puzzles are something you would enjoy I am giving the 4 x 6 24 piece template to you for free. Once you make one of these puzzles and see how much enjoyment your friends get from them then come back to the website and purchase the complete template book for just $7. You can also purchase securely with your credit card right now by clicking this link BUY NOW. You do not need a Paypal account to purchase with your credit card.

If you do not feel comfortable purchasing online just email me and we will make arrangements for you to purchase by snail mail.

Thanks for reading my shameless advertisement. I promise the money paid will be used to help revive the world economy. In other words I will spend it on frivolous items that I don't need like new tools with fancy attachments and neat blinking lights. It's important that we all do our part. :)

Think Safety

Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
